Helinorth Helicopters Ltd is the Northland branch of Helinorth Limited, based at Dargaville Aerodrome with a large hangar housing all aircraft and equipment. We specialise in agricultural spraying and fertiliser spreading for farmers and crop growers throughout the Northland region. Our commercial helicopters are also fitted with specialist lifting equipment, allowing us to lift heavy loads including construction material, timber, concrete and metal — a great option for working in hard-to-access or remote locations.
Helinorth operates as the northern arm of Helinorth Limited, which was incorporated in 1995 by Greg Gribble in Auckland and traces its roots back to Helisika Taupo, founded in 1987. From its beginnings with a Hughes 300 on a grass pad at Ardmore, Helisika has grown into a trusted name in aerial agricultural work — with Helinorth bringing that same expertise to the farmers and growers of Northland.
